BIG TROPHY STRIPED BASS (ROCKFISH) TIME
Weather limited our days on the water this month, and we lost nearly two weeks after the big storm and extreme cold. But when we got out, the fishing was outstanding.
The bait is stacked up under the ice, and the pattern remains the same as January:
- 5–7” Z-Man baits
- Metal jigs
👉 Big fish were landed on our boats whenever conditions allowed.
If you love fly fishing, now is prime time. Shallow-water rockfish feed aggressively this time of year, and winter offers some of the best sight-and-strip opportunities of the season.
Cool temps. Hungry fish. Fewer boats.
