The Rock On Report
Middle Bay Fishing.
Wind…Wind…and some more wind
Bluefish are here and some Macs.
There were some nice ones caught!
Caught “puppy drum’, sea bass and flounder all this week also.
Stripers AKA “Rockfishâ€
They are starting to get back into the normal late summer spots. Lots of charter boats live lining and trolling, we are catching with smaller z-man plastics jigging and on top water early.
Perch
Deeper “cooler†water is the ticket. The bigger ones are there. Docks throwing small rattle traps or spinner baits have gotten fish.

Spot
We had a great week catching medium to BIG spot. But, like the perch deeper water. The “rockfish candy†size are still being caught a ton, but some good eating sizes were coming in the boat.
