Fishing Report

Rockfish

The water temp is going up and the bass are transitioning to deeper water. Small Z-man paddle tails on 3/16 to 1/4 on G-Eye jigs seems to be the best shallow. The top water bite is starting to pick up. We will be live lining later this month. Spotare here…

Family Fishing trips

What a great time for kids and families to fish.

Bottom fishing for Perch, Spot and Croaker. Then live line fishing for the Bluefish and Rockfish.

This is starting to happen now for Rockfish AKA striped bass. The bluefish are not here yet.

FLY FISHING

It is time for shallow water fly-fishing. The striped bass are ready to eat a fly.The speckled trout are here also. Lots of skinny water casting.

Jump on our Hewes 21 Rodfisher and let’s go…

We have a special one angler fly trip this year. Check it out on our charters page.

Speckled Trout and Redfish on Fly and Spinning Gear

The water temps in the shallow waters of the local rivers and islands will be heating up. With the warmer water…Trout and redfish will be back and time for shallow water fly and spin fishing.

We are chasing the trout and redfish NOW!

We have had the best success on both trout and smaller redfish with the 4” Z-Man diesel minnow and a ¼ oz G-Eye Jig.

The bull reds are still loving the 7’ Z-Man diesel minnow.
