The Rock on Fishing Report
Rockfish
The striped bass season is open till July 15. We will be wide open targeting “Rockfish” with lures and artificials in shallow water. The very early TOP WATER bite has been fantastic!! Lots of nice fish. The time to start live lining is almost here. We will be starting to do a lot more live lining on our trips. Nothing better than catching 100 spot and then chasing the rockfish and bluefish with live bait. We do have a few dates still open in July,
Spot, Croaker, and Perch Fishing
What a great time for kids and families to fish.
Lots of action and PLENTY of fish.
Bottom fishing for Perch, Spot, and Croaker with double hook rigs and bloodworms or Fishbites works best.

Speckled Trout and Redfish
Trout and redfish are HERE and time for shallow water fly and spin fishing.
We are chasing the trout and redfish NOW!
We have had the best success on both trout and smaller redfish with the 3″-4” Z-Man diesel minnow and a ¼ oz G-Eye Jig.
The bull reds are still loving the 7’ Z-Man diesel minnow.
The Bull Redfish season is going to epic.

Bluefish
It is time for the bluefish “BLITZ” to start happening. This summer should see some GIANT bluefish in the middle bay. There have been 30″ ten-pound bluefish already caught just south of Chesapeake Beach. Get in on this action ASAP.
Cobia
The Cobia are already just a little south of Point Lookout and we will be targeting them very very soon. Sight fishing with bucktails and twister tails works great.
Trolling red/orange hoses or chumming also can be good.
We will be sight fishing for them.
